NouvelleCINEtiqueA Multimedia Art Exhibit
December 15 and 16, 2007
(Saturday and Sunday)
open from 10am to 7pm
Space 217, LRI Business Plaza
N. Garcia St. (formerly Reposo)
Bel-Air Village II, Makati City
The exhibit gives homage, not to Cinema directly, but to how Cinema inspires other art forms. What was once considered to be a shallow of visual art when it first began, is now considered to be the most truthful out of all art mediums.
Through its various genres and themes, Cinema incites and evokes emotions and reactions. It has become a catalyst for cultures and sub-cultures, for social and even political movements, and is instrumental in not just documenting history, but also in creating it. It is creates and gauges trends and promotes awareness.
The objective of this exhibit is to articulate the impact that Cinema has on modern art forms by use of Multimedia Art, such as Digital Photography, Graphic Design, 3d Animation and Video into a montage of history, pop culture, fashion, literature, music and art.
All 13 participating artists are students from the Multimedia Arts Program of the De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde.
